The Forestree Company has been performing quality tree work in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 25 years. Forestree was founded and is still owned and operated by Marshall Lyons, a University of California at Berkeley Forestry School alumnus, and has been a pioneering company in the use of the latest scientific information in its application to residential and commercial tree care. A Certified Arborist since 1984, Marshall has assembled and trained a professional staff of Certified Arborists and tree workers who provide appropriate and considerate arboricultural services to the individual tree owner.
Communication between the client and the Arborist and the other tree workers is essential, we believe, to providing a quality service at a reasonable cost. A Certified Arborist, who will also be present when the work is being performed, provides estimates and consultations. The Arborist works with the client and neighbors to discuss areas of common interest and to resolve any conflicts and misapprehensions that may exist.
All work is done to International Society of Arboriculture standards. Safe working practices conform to American National Standards Institute guidelines for tree care operations. The appropriate tools and procedures are always employed. Trees are pruned only at the correct time of year for each species. And finally, the crew leaves a clean and tidy worksite so that the tree can be enjoyed without distraction.
